Some of Matia's patients who cook have provided us with a few of their recipes. Additional recipes are gratefully accepted.
Please check the recipes carefully for ingredients since everyone is at different stages and some ingredients may not be appropriate for you.
Besides the specific recipes, here are a few overall tips for cooking:
For cakes, cookies, all kinds of baked goods use:
•Pamela's Baking Mix as a base, on the back there are recipes for cookies, cakes, etc...
•Substitute sugar with Agave Nectar 1:1 (even though the agave bottle says a little less)
•Substitute chocolate with Ultimate Raw Chocolate or Wax Orchard's Chocolate
•Substitute other things as you want to create variety, such as different kinds of nuts or organic canned pumpkin, or carrots, or fruit.
You can even use the Wax Orchard's fruit mince for a sweetener with or without the agave.
Also get an ice cream maker! You can make delicious ice cream with a milk base or with an almond milk base (if you want dairy free) and mix in all kinds of yummy things, any of the items above work blended in. Change it around by using different combinations from your imagination. It is delicious.!
We purchased the Cuisinart Supreme one-step model. Put in your ingredients and it makes ice cream in an hour! If the ingredients are solid, the blend them in your blender first and then pour them into the ice cream maker so it comes out more smoothly.
